Overview

Amazon Music is introducing a new feature that allows current and new users to find and connect with their phone contacts.

I was tasked with writing copy to encourage customers to enable third Contact Discoverability privacy setting. 
This included a Tooltip, Text Invite, Final Screen sub-header, Header for invitees, and main banner.

Bussines Goals

Before begging this task, I asked the requestor several questions to get a better understanding of what as needed.
Who is the customer?

Number of people followed

Suggested Copy

Using Amazon Music’s UX writing guidelines, I examined the suggested copy and looked for ways to improve it.
Research

I conducted an internal audit of the copy used within Amazon Music and an external audit of how similar copy is being used on other platforms like Spotify, Youtube Music, Shazam, Soundcloud, Musi, and Snapchat.

Final Copy
